Moris Triventi to deliver a keynote at the ECSR Annual Conference 2026 in Dublin
The coordinator of EqualScope will be among the keynote speakers at the next annual conference of the European Consortium for Sociological Research, to be held from 15 to 17 June 2026 at Trinity College Dublin.

Moris Triventi, Professor at the University of Milan and coordinator of EqualScope, will deliver a keynote speech at the next ECSR Annual Conference 2026, the annual conference of the European Consortium for Sociological Research (ECSR), which will take place in Dublin from 15 to 17 June 2026 at Trinity College Dublin. The 2026 edition of the conference is organized around the theme “Inequality by Design? Social Divides in an Age of Uncertainty.” The title of the lecture will be “Social Stratification Research in the Age of Big Data: Challenges and Opportunities Ahead.” The keynote will offer a reflection on how research on social stratification is being reshaped by new data infrastructures and methodological tools, highlighting both the opportunities and the challenges these developments pose for the future of sociological research on inequality.
