Two EqualScope members involved in organizing the 1st SISEC Methods School 2026

Two EqualScope members, Nazareno Panichella (scientific coordinator and faculty member) and Emmanuele Pavolini (faculty member), are involved in organizing the 1st SISEC Methods School 2026 – Quantitative Methods for Economic Sociology, promoted by the Italian Society of Economic Sociology (SISEC). The school will take place from 11 to 16 June 2026 at the Convento di San Nicola in Celenza Valfortore (FG) and is primarily addressed to PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, research fellows, and, more broadly, early-career scholars in the social, economic, and political sciences.This first edition launches a new SISEC training initiative organized on a biennial basis and dedicated, in 2026, to quantitative methods, with a focus on the analysis of economic processes and labour market dynamics. The programme includes theoretical lectures, lab sessions, seminar lectures, and opportunities for discussion among participants and faculty members.
